SkyKraft is a joint venture between Skellefteå Kraft and SkyNRG, with the purpose of establishing a production facility for Electro- Sustainable Aviation Fuel (eSAF). Fully operational, the plant is expected to produce approximately 100,000 tonnes of eSAF annually.

By combining our expertise in renewable energy and sustainable aviation, we aim to accelerate the aviation industry’s green transition and strengthen Europe’s energy independence in the field of sustainable fuels.

Why Näsudden?

To produce high quality eSAF in the most efficient way possible, access to renewable electricity, biogenic carbon dioxide, and suitable infrastructure is essential. The coastal industrial site of Näsudden, just outside Skellefteå in northern Sweden, meets all of these criteria. The conditions offered here allow for cost-effective production that few other locations worldwide can match.
